Electrochemical synthesis of composition of tungsten carbide with platinum involves electrolyte containing sodium chloride, potassium chloride, cesium chloride, sodium fluoroxitungstate and platinum chlorhydric acid. Electrolysis is performed in a three-electrode quartz cell, where a glassy carbon crucible serves as a cathode, at the temperature of 550°C, at current densities of 0.1-1.0 A/cm, and carbon dioxide is used as a carbon source.EFFECT: new generation of fuel elements and electrolysers for electrochemical formation of hydrogen.2 ex
