Method for decorating the surface of components and component produced accordingly

The method involves providing two-and/or three-dimensional component with applied powder coating layer of base layer, and optionally applying a receiving surface decoration interlayer. A surface decoration is directly applied to two and/or three dimensional components in digital form, by printer using a special color. A transparent powder coating layer is applied to protect the surface decoration. The surface decoration is designed as ornaments, pictures, or free-form color scheme. The top layer of component consists of nanoparticles and translucent color pigments. An independent claim is included for two and/or three dimensional components.
