<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintering tool which sufficiently promotes sintering process for a sintered compact, does not cause the peel-off of the coated layer, even when it is repeatedly used for sintering a honeycomb shaped body, and can be used for a long period of time leading to the reduction of the running cost. <P>SOLUTION: The sintering tool is a honeycomb sintering tool comprising a receiving body in which a columnar honeycomb shaped body mainly composed of silicon carbide is placed with its side below and a coated layer formed on the placement area of the receiving body on which at least the honeycomb shaped body is placed. The main component of the coated layer is a silicon carbide. The arithmetic mean height Ra as determined based on JIS B 0601(2001) is ≤10 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
