[Also in Division B7] A semi-mounted implement includes an elongated frame 6 having forward connections for pivotally connecting the frame 6 to the rear of a draft vehicle for side to side swinging movement, a ground wheel 29 for supporting the trailing end of the frame, tools e.g. plough shares mounted on the frame for movement between ground engaging positions and a transport position and adjusting means operable on the ground wheel to adjust its position when the tools are moved. The side to side swinging movement is transmitted to the ground wheel 29 by means of bevelled pinion gears 32, 33, control rod 31 and gears 35, 34, 36, 38 mounted at the rear of the frame. Adjustment of the ground wheel 29 when the frame is rotated is achieved by means of eccentric (60), Fig. 8 (not shown), connected to bell crank lever 67 which in turn is connected to arm 73 of actuating arm 37 by link 71.</p> |
