PURPOSE: A device and a method for fixing a steering wheel when parking are provided to set a moving passage of a vehicle according to a predicted parking orbit, thereby accurately parking the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A device for fixing a steering wheel when parking comprises a camera(110), a display(130), a steering angle sensor(140), an actuator(150), and a controller(120). The camera photographs a parking section in the rear and front sides of the vehicle. The display displays the information for supporting the parking of the vehicle and the parking section in the rear and front sides of the vehicle. The steering angle sensor senses a steering angle of a steering wheel. The actuator drives the steering wheel. The controller receives various kinds of data from the steering angle sensor or the actuator, processes the same, and controls the operation of the actuator.
