<p>The method involves calculating a k-th order primitive of a digital signal (X-t), and calculating the convolution of the primitive sampled with a succession of coefficients of wavelet functions. A wavelet coefficient is determined by calculating a linear combination of the convolution, where the method is implemented by a processor configured or programmed appropriately, and the coefficients are functions of derivatives in correspondence to a wavelet of points constituting the ends of carrier intervals. An independent claim is also included for a method for transformation of a signal into wavelets.</p> |
