CERAMIC INSULATOR AND INSULATOR STRINGS

PURPOSE: A porcelain insulator and an insulator string are provided to minimize the influence of corona discharge generated in both ends of the insulator string by using the porcelain insulator installed in both ends of a polymer insulator. CONSTITUTION: A shed(310) of a ceramic material comprises a penetration hole in a center unit. An FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastics) rod(320) is combined with the shed by penetrating the penetration hole. Connection fitting classes(330,340) are combined with both ends of the FRP rod. The shed comprises a plurality of hemispherical projections(311) inside.
