B-tetronic acid mannich bases solubilisers

摘要

(A) alpha-Aminoalkylation of alpha-unsubst. beta-tetronic acids by reacting them or their derivs. with aldehydes (esp. formaldehyde) and secondary amines. The aminoalkylation can be carried out with alkylolamines (esp. methylolamines). The alpha-unsubst. beta-tetronic acid starting material can be prepd. by dehalogenating alpha-halo (esp. bromo)-tetronic acid. (B) beta-Tetronic acid Mannich bases of formulae (I) and (II):- (II) where R1 = H, aryl or alkyl R2 = tertiary amino Pharmaceutical adjuvants (especially solubilisers) and pharmaceutical active materials.
