The tool change arrangement can be moved by a mechanism between a front and a back position. It is mounted on a hub and can be rotated relative to the machine tool. Grips are mounted at the end of radial arms, which can grip a cutter and move it from a storage into a working position. The axis of rotation of the hub on which the tool changers are mounted is placed at an angle to the axis of rotation of the work spindle. The arms which extend from the hub are also mounted at an angle relative to the direction of rotation of the hub. The angle between the arms and a plane at right angles so their axis of rotation is equal to the angle between the axis of rotation of the spindle and the axis of rotation of the hub. |
