PURPOSE: A method for preparing a compound with hindered amine at both ends is provided to ensure thermal and UV stability and to use the compound as a stabilizer. CONSTITUTION: A compound having hindered amine at both ends is denoted by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1 is C1-C12 alkyl; and R2 is hydrogen, C1-C12 alkyl, and C1-C12 alkoxy. A method for preparing the compound comprises a step of reacting the hindered amine of chemical formula 2 with alkanoyl chloride of chemical formula 3 at room temperature for 8-24 hours. The alkanoyl chloride is succinyl chloride, adipoyl chloride, suberoyl chloride, or sebacoyl chloride. An amide-based stabilizer contains the compound. |
