The process comprises bringing together a polymeric precursor, an activator and a catalyst, mixing contents in a mixing chamber arranged in an injection molding mold (4), arranging a component such as a flat textile article in the injection molding mold, and introducing the polymeric precursor together with catalyst and activator into the injection molding mold by advance of first and second plasticizing screws (1) of an injection molding machine. The first and second plasticizing screws are arranged in a plasticizing cylinder. The process comprises bringing together a polymeric precursor, an activator and a catalyst, mixing contents in a mixing chamber arranged in an injection molding mold (4), arranging a component such as a flat textile article in the injection molding mold, and introducing the polymeric precursor together with catalyst and activator into the injection molding mold by advance of first and second plasticizing screws (1) of an injection molding machine. The first and second plasticizing screws are arranged in a plasticizing cylinder and inclinedly arranged relative to horizontal at an angle (alpha ) of 10-35[deg] . The activator is added to the polymeric precursor before filling the first and second plasticizing screws. The polymeric precursor and the activator are mixed with the first plasticizing screw without addition of the catalyst, and are liquefied precursor. The polymeric precursor and the catalyst are mixed with the second plasticizing screw without addition of the activator, and are liquefied precursor. The contents liquefied with the two plasticizing screws are mixed and jointly introduced into the injection molding mold, and are polymerized to afford a plastic part. The component: has a material that is injected around the component; and forms a fiber-reinforced plastic part after the injection operation and polymerization of the injected polymeric precursor together with activator and catalyst. An independent claim is included for an injection molding machine. |
