PURPOSE: A battery charging device for vehicles is provided to automatically charge a battery according to a charging state of the battery by using a sunlight generation module. CONSTITUTION: A charging amount sensing unit(20) senses the charging amount of a battery(10). An optical sensor(30) is installed in various positions of a vehicle to sense the amount of outer light. A sunlight generating module(60) converts solar energy into electric energy. An auxiliary charging unit(70) accessarily charges the electric energy generated in the sunlight generating module. A control unit(40) controls the auxiliary charging unit to charge the battery.
