PURPOSE: A length extending device is provided to easily and perpendicularly extend in a telescopic manner and to minimize the volume of the device by comprising a simple length extending device structure. CONSTITUTION: A length extending device comprises a drum(100), a driving member, an extension mast(300), and a lower mast(400). A plate shaped band is wound in the drum and extended in a longitudinal direction. The driving member rotates the drum. The extension mast is a body unit being extended in the longitudinal direction. The extension mast is connected to an end of the band and moves back and forth in the longitudinal direction according to winding and unwinding of the band. The lower mast is placed on the exterior surface of the extension mast, thereby moving the extension mast back and forth along the inner wall thereof.
