PURPOSE: Components for a secondary battery are provided to provide a passive type overcurrent-blocking function apart from the active type overcurrent-blocking function of a protection circuit. CONSTITUTION: Components(20) for a secondary battery comprise a metal plate(22) with at least one or more recess lines(21); and a soldering pattern attached to the recess line. A secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly in which a positive electrode lead and a negative electrode lead are electrically connected to each other; and a packing material sealing the electrode assembly in order to expose a part of the negative electrode lead to the outside. The components apply to the negative electrode lead and/or positive electrode lead.
