PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to improve demisting effects of a side window and to prevent unpleasant of a passenger due to discharge of hot air to a center vent. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle comprises an air conditioner case(50) and a vent door(52). A center vent(511) is formed while an upper surface of the air conditioner case is opened, and a side vent(513) is opened by opening a side of the air conditioner case. A vent door(52) comprises a side guide unit. The side direction guide unit guides air to the side vent in order to discharge the air to the side vent when a face vent(51) is closed.
