PURPOSE: An air conditioning system and a control method thereof are provided to monitor use time of a filter included in an air conditioner by using a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A first communication module(120) is connected to a second communication module of a terminal. A filter(130) is included in an air conditioner. The filter filters air inhaled to the air conditioner. A timer(150) calculates pass time for replacing or installing the filter. The terminal includes a display unit. The display unit displays information related to the filter.
