PURPOSE: A method for tracking the maximum power point of a solar cell using a bisection method is provided to quickly converge the maximum power point by maximizing a convex property. CONSTITUTION: An initial voltage value of 0 is set to a left voltage value(S10). A voltage value of an open circuit is set to a right voltage value. A middle voltage value of the right voltage value and a k-th left voltage value is produced(S20). A power value corresponding to a voltage with a preset displacement is produced(S30). Power generated by the left voltage value is increased. A new middle voltage value is determined to the left voltage value(S40). Power generated by the right voltage value is increased. A new middle voltage value is determined to the right voltage value(S50).
