PURPOSE: A vehicle-to-vehicle communication system and a communication method thereof are provided to enabler a driver to properly deal with a situation by controlling a transmission frequency of a message based on a risk degree according to a traveling state. CONSTITUTION: A beacon message transceiver(210) transmits and receives beacon messages. The beacon message includes an identifier, a location, a speed, or a risk degree. A risk degree calculating unit(220) recognizes vehicles within a preset range and calculates the risk degree based on the peripheral vehicles. A transmission cycle determining unit(230) determines a transmission cycle of the beacon message.
