PURPOSE: A weave sequence counter for NVM(Non-Volatile Memory) systems is provided to support performance of rollback and construction of logical-to-physical mapping. CONSTITUTION: A current value of a WSC(Weave Sequence Counter) is identified. The WSC identifies a sequence in which pages of an NVM are programmed. A first page of a first block of the NVM is programmed to a first set of user data. The current value of the WSC and the first page are related.
