PURPOSE: An apparatus for increasing the fuel efficiency of a car is provided to be easily installed regardless of the structure of the car, improve fuel efficiency by completely combusting fuel, and reduce exhaust smoke. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for increasing the fuel efficiency of a car comprises an electron emitting part(100) and a ground amplifier(200). The electron emitting part is adhered along the inner surface of an air exhaust pipe of an air cleaner housing, is electrically connected to a lead line(300) from the positive terminal(+) of a car battery(403), and is equipped with conductor plate for emitting electrons toward the center of the air outlet. The electron emitting part comprises a base panel(101), a first conductor(102), a second conductor plat(103), a coil means, and a luminous means. The base panel is adhered along the inner surface of the air outlet of the air cleaner housing. The first conductor plate and the second conductor plate are formed on the upper surface of the base panel and are mutually connected with the coil means. The luminous means is actuated according to voltage supplied from the car battery in order to emit light having a certain frequency and then emits the electrons through the first conductor plate, the second conductor plate, and the coil means. The ground amplifier fixed to a car body connects the car body to the ground of the electron emitting part.
