PURPOSE: A drum screening apparatus is provided to be able to increase the process efficiency to the area by continuously operating a drum screen without an emergency stop due to sudden elevation of water level of raw water in the drum screen, which expands the treatment area of raw water and provides a stable processing task. CONSTITUTION: A drum screening apparatus comprises a rotary drum part(20), a driving part, an adulteration elimination part, and a filtered water discharge part. The adulteration elimination part separates, collects and discharges micro adulteration on a drum screen(21) by spraying washing water from a washer nozzle. The drum screen has a structure in which a screen network (21a) of a mesh type is mounted on a cylindrical frame. A forward rotary drum(22) is protruded toward the front side from the drum screen, wherein the front face is tightly sealed in a half circle form and the top side is open. A backward rotary drum(23) is protruded toward the back side from the drum screen, wherein the back surface is completely sealed. A bypass tube capable of discharging the raw water is installed on a housing main body which is positioned in the same line to the point where the front open surface of the forward rotary drum begins. The raw water ejected through the bypass tube is re-flowed into the drum screen through a conveying line. |
