PURPOSE: A calibration method for a 6-axis vibration sensor using periodic rotary vibration and an apparatus thereof are provided to simultaneously apply a linear acceleration component and a gravity acceleration component to the 6-axis vibration sensor, thereby performing calibration for a linear 3-axis and a rotary 3-axis. CONSTITUTION: An apply unit(110) applies a vibration signal to a rotary vibrator(120). The rotary vibrator has a 6-axis vibration sensor(500) on a rotary axis, generates rotary vibration according to the vibration signal applied by the apply unit and delivers the rotary vibration to the 6-axis vibration sensor. The rotary vibrator has a measurement unit(130) which measures vibration generated by the rotary vibrator. A converting unit(140) connected to the 6-axis vibration sensor amplifies the vibration signal generated by the rotary vibrator and converts the vibration signal to a digital signal type. |
