PURPOSE: A pipe cutting apparatus is provided o minimize the fault ratio by finishing the cut face of pipes into an even surface without distortion or bending by supporting the pipes through idle rolls. CONSTITUTION: A pipe cutting apparatus(1) is composed of a fixed frame(10), a cutting unit(20), and a driving motor(30). The driving motor is fixed in the fixed frame and supplies torque to the cutting unit. The cutting unit comprises a cutter(210), a slider(220), and a housing(230). The cutter is rotated along the outer periphery of a pipe and cuts the pipe through cutting blades(218). The slider reciprocates and slides to the cutter regardless of the rotation of the cutter by being tightened or loosened toward the pipe and is supported by the housing. |
