PURPOSE: An exhaust gas combustor equipped with a dual catalyst layer for a fuel cell is provided to reduce the gradient of temperatures at the front side and the rear side of the catalyst layer by respectively suppressing and activating the front side and the rear side of the catalyst reaction combustor. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas combustor equipped with a dual catalyst layer is a cylindrical catalyst reaction combustor which includes a reaction part(10), an introducing part(20), and a discharging part(30). A catalyst layer(110) is embedded in the reaction part. The introducing part is arranged at one side of the reaction part. Gaseous reactive materials are introduced into the introducing part. The discharging part is arranged at another side of the reaction part. The reactive materials are reactive with the catalyst layer and are discharged to the discharging part. The catalyst layer is composed of dual layers which form a front layer(112) and a rear layer(114) with different cell densities. The cell density of the front layer is smaller than the cell density of the rear layer. |
