PURPOSE: A web application installing system for a web browser supporting HTML5 and a method thereof are provided to display content in an offline state by downloading necessary resources in an online state. CONSTITUTION: A resource database(110) stores resources and a resource information list generating unit(130) generates a resource information list including information about the resources according to each kind of mobile terminals. A providing unit(140) provides the resource information list to a corresponding mobile terminal and provides a resource requested based on the resource information list to the mobile terminal. The resource information list is generated by adding information about the resources to be stored in a web SQL(Structured Query Language) database and a web storage of the mobile terminal in a manifest file including content information.
