PURPOSE: A tube for handling nucleic acid and biological materials is provided to prevent the leakage of mixed solution containing a specimen for handling the nucleic acid and biological materials from a tube while mixing and stirring the mixed solution. CONSTITUTION: A tube for handling nucleic acid and biological materials comprises a tube body(20) and a cover(30). The tube body comprises a chamber in which mixed solution containing a specimen for handling the nucleic acid and biological materials is received; and an opening through which the mixed solution can access to the chamber. The cover comprises a communication hole and a baffle. The communication hole communicates with the chamber to access a pipette tip to the chamber. The baffle is arranged along the circumference of the communication hole to prevent the leakage of the mixed solution of the chamber to the outside of the tube body through the communication hole when the tube body is orbital-shaken. The cover partially covers the opening and is coupled to the tube body.
