PURPOSE: A low molecualr Grifola frondosa extracellular polysaccharide and a cosmetic composition containing the same are provided to improve physiological function and antioxidaiton. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing Grifola frondosa extracellular polysaccharides comprises a step of low-molecularizing extracellular polysaccharides by irradiating radiation to Grifola frondosa. The radiation is cobalt 60 and irradiated at 1-50 kDa. A cosmetic composition contains 1-15 wt% of the extracellular polysaccharides. The cosmetic composition contains an antioxidant, stabilizing agent, solubilizing agent, vitamin, pigment, and perfume. A food contains 0.0001-30 wt% of the extracellular polysaccharides. |
