PURPOSE: An engine unit and a driving method thereof are provided to stabilize combustion in low loads of an engine by injecting brown gas into a combustion chamber of the engine using an auxiliary blower. CONSTITUTION: An engine unit(10) comprises an engine(100), a brown gas generator(180), and a brown gas supply pipe(190). The engine comprises a turbocharger(120), and an auxiliary blower(140). The turbocharger supercharges intake air. The auxiliary blower supplies the intake air to a combustion chamber of the engine in low loads of an engine. The brown gas supply pipe is connected between the brown gas generator. The auxiliary blower supplies brown gas generated from the brown gas generator to the combustion chamber of the engine. |
