A method for controlling a water supply process of a washing machine is provided to supply water including silver ion into the washing machine regularly by using water flow. A method for controlling a water supply process of a washing machine comprises the steps detecting water flow and supplying water into the washing machine by controlling an ion generating unit(28) on the basis of detected water flow. The water contains a predetermined concentration of silver ion. The step of detecting water flow comprises starting the water supply process and sensing water level in the washing machine, and counting water supply time until the water level reaches set water level and detecting water flow. |
