<p>PURPOSE: A light emitting device, and a light emitting device package and a light unit are provided to improve process stability by connecting serially light emitting cells. CONSTITUTION: Light emitting cells(C11-C35) include an active layer on a second conductive semiconductor layer. The light emitting cells include a first conductive semiconductor layer on the active layer. A contact part(114) is in contact with the side of the first conductive semiconductor layer of a first light emitting cell.
