METHOD FOR PREPARING WATER-SOLUBLE MELANIN

摘要

A method for preparing water-soluble melanin comprises water extraction of the minced melanin-containing herbal raw material with simultaneous cavitation. The extraction is performed at the temperature of 50- at mass ratio of water to raw material assuring for the maximal recovery of melanin. The extract obtained is loaded into reactor designed as crystal hydrate column of selective adsorption. The previously selected fluoroalkane is added. The selection is provided by the solubility of melanin in fluoroalkane depending on the specific raw material. The crystals are separated from the liquid and then melted.
