PURPOSE: An optical system and a method for inspecting an electrode of a display device using the same are provided to easily inspect the electrode by irradiating various colors of light from a light source with red, green, and blue LEDs. CONSTITUTION: An optical system comprises a light source(10), an optical cable(20), an objective lends(40), a splitter(50), a tube lens(30), and a camera(60). The light source has red, green, and blue LEDs. The optical cable transmits light emitted from the light source. The objective lens forms the image of the light on electrode for a display device. The splitter reflects the light to the objective lens and penetrates the image inputted through the objective lens. The tube lens has a predetermined value or more of a focal distance to enlarge the image. The camera obtains the image inputted through the objective lens.
