PURPOSE: A vehicle towing a railway vehicle with a railway-land perpendicular driving mode is provided to facilitate the turning for towing a railway vehicle or for traveling to tow a railway vehicle, thereby reducing working hours and making better use of a space. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle towing a railway vehicle with a railway-land perpendicular-driving mode includes a land traveling device(3), a railway driving device(4) and a lifting device(5). The land traveling device is installed on the lower part of a vehicle frame(1), drives on rubber wheels, and has a steering capability of turning in a direction. The railway travelling device is installed on the lower part of the vehicle frame and travels on a railway track at a right angle to the travelling direction of the land travelling device. The lifting device is attached to the vehicle frame, is composed of a support, a hydraulic cylinder and a link, and lifts the railway travelling device up and down.
