PURPOSE: A navigation device and a control method thereof are provided to implement more efficient navigation service with an external device and to perform efficient multi-tasking. CONSTITUTION: A navigation device comprises a communication part(110) and a control part(180). The control part links one or more external electronic devices through the communication part; performs a first event for guiding a preset route and a second event having no concern with guiding the route guidance; and transmits TBT information related with a turn position to one or more external electronic devices.
