PURPOSE: An error detecting and diagnosis request method and a device thereof are provided to automatically detect various errors generated in a network environment of a building or a home. CONSTITUTION: When errors are generated, a resource object transmits monitoring information including error messages. When the error message is included in the received monitoring information from the resource object, an integrated home or building resource management device(130) determines that errors exist in the resource object. The integrated home or building resource management device transmits a diagnosis request message to an error diagnosis framework. The integrated home or building resource management device receives diagnosis result information from the error diagnosis framework.
