PURPOSE: A microfluidic device is provided to prevent cross contamination between a plurality of reaction chambers and to improve biochemical reaction efficiency and reproducibility. CONSTITUTION: A microfluidic device comprises: a sample chamber(10) which contains a sample; a plurality of reaction chambers(13) which contains a reactant; a distribution channel(12) which distributes the sample to each reaction chamber; a mixing preventing chamber(11) which is connected to the distribution channel and contains a material which prevents each reactant in the reaction chamber from being mixed each other; and valves(16,17) which are placed in the distribution channel and opens and closes the distribution channel.
