PURPOSE: A headlining assembly for a sunroof is provided to reduce the weight and the manufacturing costs by removing an existing sub-bracket and improve the workability by performing an automatic covering process. CONSTITUTION: A headlining assembly for a sunroof comprises a headlining base material(10), a bracket(20), and a fastener housing unit(30). The bracket is joined to the top surface of the headlining base material and includes a hanging portion(21). The fastener housing unit is manufactured independently of the bracket and is composed of a top plate(31) and a leg(33). The top plate of the fastener housing unit includes a fastener insertion portion where a fastener(F) is inserted. The leg of the fastener housing unit is extended downwards from both sides of the top plate, thereby hanging on the hanging portion.
