PURPOSE: A health food composition for improving dementia is provided to cleanse pulmonary alveolus, supply oxygen to the brain, cleanse cerebral blood vessels, and intensify circulation function to cleanly increase blood in cerebral blood vessels. CONSTITUTION: A health food composition for improving dementia comprises an extract of two or more selected from pine rootlets, Tricholoma matsutake, pine nuts, Gastrodiae rhizome, and schizandra. The extract of mixture is comprised with 0.001-10 wt% of each thereof according to the total composition weight. Based on a dried weight of the composition mixture, 1-40 weight% of pine rootlets, 1-40 weight% of pine nuts, 1-40 weight% of Gastrodiae rhizome, or 1-40 weight% of schizandra are included. The health food composition may be in a form of one or more selected from a pill, granules, a soft capsule agent, a hard capsule agent, syrup, a beverage, a soft extract, a dry extract, a double boiled liquid, and an extracted double boiled liquid. The extract may be extracted by water, an organic solvent, or a mixture thereof. The organic solvent may be an alcoholic solvent of carbon number 1-4. The organic solvent may be one or more selected from methanol, ethanol, propyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, glycerine propylene glycol, and butylene glycol.
