Solid cosmetic composition in the form of powder, preferably compact powder, comprises a pulverulent phase (>= 35 wt.%), and a pearlite in the form of particles (>= 20 wt.%), where a weight ratio of the particles of pearlite and the pulverulent phase is 0.2-1. An independent claim is included for a process of coating of a face by the cosmetic composition, comprising applying the composition to the face, preferably cheeks, forehead, chin and nose.
