The device (1) has a movable cylinder that rotates about an axis under the action of force exerted by air that is moved by displacement of a vehicle e.g. lorry (31) and bus (131). The rotation of the cylinder moves the air in a circular manner towards the rear of the vehicle for reducing suction cone and aerodynamic drag by applying aerodynamic superposition principle. Multiple projections are added on a surface of the cylinder to increase the surface of contact with the surrounding air. Cavities are formed on the surface of the cylinder, where the cylinder is made of rigid material.
