<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounting machine with high practical utility. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic component mounting machine comprises: a conveying device 14; an operation head 16 executing a mounting operation to a circuit board 12 held by the conveying device; and a pair of supply devices 20, 22 provided on both sides of a base 28 and supplying an electronic component while nipping the conveying device, searches where the electronic component to be mounted on the circuit board is housed in a pair of the supply devices, and mounts the electronic component to be supplied by the searched supply device to the circuit board. When searching the electronic component, one of a pair of the supply devices is constituted to be preferentially searched. By such a constitution, for example, when a supply device on the side of which an operator exists is preferentially searched among a pair of the supply devices, shortage of the components at the supply device on the side of which the operator does not exist can be restrained.
