<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is improved in viewing angle characteristics by providing a plurality of sub-pixels in one pixel or a display device suppressing decrease in an aperture ratio even when a plurality of sub-pixels are provided. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes pixels each having a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel and a third sub-pixel, scanning lines, signal lines, first capacitance wires, second capacitance wires and third capacitance wires, wherein pixel electrodes that electrically respectively are connected to one of electrodes of the first to third capacitive elements and to the first to third capacitance wires, are provided on the first to third sub-pixels, and potentials in the first capacitance wire and the second capacitance wire are varied so as to keep the potential of the third capacitance wire almost constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
