SELF-CHECKOUT TERMINAL AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate burden of a customer using a self-checkout terminal.

SOLUTION: The self-checkout terminal includes: a measurement part for measuring a weight of a commodity; an imaging part for taking an image; recognition part for recognizing a commodity from the taken image; extraction means for extracting corresponding pieces of commodity information identifying the recognized commodity from a commodity master which stores pieces of commodity information each of which identifies a commodity, including a weight of the commodity; selection means for selecting a piece of commodity information including a weight almost the same as the weight measured from the extracted pieces of commodity information; and registration means for performing sales registration of a commodity identified by the selected piece of commodity information.
