<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure of a push button switch with excellent mass productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The waterproof structure of the push button switch has: a housing 1 that is provided with an internal space 12 capable of housing a circuit board 4 and on which a through hole 11 penetrating from an inner face 13 to an outer face 14 is formed; a button 2 that is provided with a body part 21 and a flange part 22, and is pressed toward the internal space 12 so that it can move between a first position and a second position in an axial direction of the through hole 11; a switch 3 that it mounted on the circuit board 4 in contact with the body part 21 of the button 2 and is switched from an off-condition to an on-condition as the button 2 moves to the first position or the second position; and an elastic member 5 that has waterproofness, is provided between an inner face 13 or an outer face 14 and the flange part 22, molded into a frame shape to continuously surround the body part 21 in a circumferential direction, and is in close contact with the housing 1 and the flange part 22 telescopically in an axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
