An apparatus for detecting a position of a force is provided. The apparatus comprises a substrate (10), at least two lines (15) and an evaluator (18), The lines (15) are arranged on the substrate (10). Moreover, the lines (15) are adapted to output piezoelectric signals dependent on a piezoelectric effect caused by an applied pressure. The evaluator (18) is adapted to evaluate the signals output by the lines to provide information about the position where the force has been applied.
