PURPOSE: A QR(Quick Response) code security authentication system and a method thereof are provided to reduce network traffic by authenticating a user through the determination and comparison of an initial user QR code. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal(101) is connected to a wire/wireless network, Wi-Fi, or a mobile communication network and provides content information or data for a user by using an application. A security server(102) stores personal information of the user and generates a user QR code based on the personal information to classify or store the same. The security server makes the user QR code into a gird to divide or store the user QR code. A central server(103) stores the user QR code and generates an authentication QR code with one or more methods among the processing, editing, and combination methods for the security authentication of the user.
