<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid increase in motor loss and suppress reduction in efficiency without generating a problem of torque shortage at an operation of an inverter in a synchronization PWM mode, in a motor drive system utilizing the inverter. <P>SOLUTION: An inverter controller 110 has an asynchronization PWM mode and a synchronization PWM mode as modes for generating a gate signal for on/off switching a switching element of an inverter 40. A DC voltage command value arithmetic operation part 143, in the case that the inverter controller 110 generates the gate signal in the synchronization PWM mode, calculates a command value instructing of a DC voltage to be supplied from a DC-DC converter 20 to the inverter 40 so that a d-axis current among currents supplied from the inverter 40 to the motor 50 becomes zero or a negative number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
