<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dyed lens excellent in short wavelength light absorption performance of 380 to 450nm, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A dyed lens is dyed using a compound represented by the general formula [I], where R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents alkyl group or aralkyl group which may be branched, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>represents -CN or -COOR<SP POS="POST">3</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>represents alkyl group or aralkyl group which may have substituent group (excluding ethyl group in the case of R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>being methyl group). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
