<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake attenuation stopper which is hardly broken at a large earthquake. <P>SOLUTION: The earthquake attenuation stopper 30 is applied to the vibration elimination pedestal 10 having a lower pedestal 14, an upper pedestal 12 and a plurality of vibration-proof members 16. The stopper also comprises: a penetration hole 34 formed at the upper corner hardware 22 of the upper pedestal 12; a stopper bolt 32 penetrating the penetration hole 34 and fixed to the corner hardware 28 of the lower pedestal 14 at its tip; an earthquake attenuation elastic member 38 penetrated with the stopper bolt 32; and a clearance X formed between the external peripheral face of the earthquake attenuation elastic member 38 and the penetration hole 34. The earthquake attenuation elastic member 38 comprises a double-layer structure comprising an outside layer 42 formed of a sliding material and an inside layer 40 formed of an attenuation material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
