<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily handle a long object to be dried such as a sheet and a blanket when drying the long object while reducing a manufacturing cost by reduction of the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: In the sandwiching implement, a pair of sandwiching members A are configured to perform opening operations around an oscillation fulcrum section C against sandwiching energization means B. Each sandwiching section in both the sandwiching members A includes an engaged section 21 which is engaged in a detachable state to an engaging section 20 provided in an operation knob section in a sandwiching member A of another sandwiching implement P and engages and holds another switching implement P at a connection attitude of the same direction or substantially the same direction.
